Ubud is a perfect place to having the great holiday in Bali, when you visiting Bali, ubud is the first places to visited because you can find some interesting culture, traditions, and art which long the street there are many art shop and gallery which understand some art and if you interesting one of them you can buy it.
There are so many traditional arts are finding in Ubud, this city were the famous place were the culture and art are growth well. There are many actor and actress were born here and about the dancer there many famous lagong dancer which know to all the over the world.
According to the histories at 8 the century legend tells of a Javanese priest, Rsi Markendya, meditated at the confluence of two rivers (an auspicious site for Hindus) at the Ubud locality of Campuan. Here he founded the Gunung Lebah Temple on the valley floor, the site of which remains a pilgrim destination.The town was originally important as a source of medicinal herbs and plants; Ubud gets it name from the Balinese word ubad (medicine). So ubud get it names from ubad and became ubud.
There are many tourist accommodation has been made to support tourism activity in Bali like restaurant, home stay, villa, art shop, and many other. Here also there are interesting tourism object like the Ubud Monkey Forest is a small nature reserve located near the southern intersection of Jalan Monkey Forest and Jalan Hanoman, and about 5km to the west Ubud is the Ayung River and the village of Sayan home to many upmarket hotels like the Four Seasons.
Ubud in one interesting places in bali were the culture, art and tradition are keeping tight. Mostly the people of Ubud are an traditional arteries which the art all ready flow into their blood.
