Canggu is located in north of seminyak, precisely lies between seminyak and tanah lot this area is popular area event though the dark or black sand beaches which are not particularly good for swimming but it is compatible for surfing because it has good surf for intermediate surfer. There are a variety of small hotel and bungalow collections in this area. The most prevalent form of travel accommodation is private villas.
Canggu which can pronounce “chan-goo” the name is derived from the samparang chronicles part-myth, part-history which is related to the Balinese ancient king. About three km north of petitenget, canggo the name of the village two km in coastal bali island with all it best. The canggu people are still working as a fisherman.
About the beach canggu has a beutifull beach which lay down along thought the seminyak, legian,and kuta beach. The fishermen here in canggu still use the beach and sea for their livelihood. Take awak to the north and you will run into some important and attractive sea temple and more fishing villages where life goes on relatively undisturbed ceremonies can sometimes be seen right in the front of the hotel or villas. There are two extractive beach in canggu they are Seseh and Brawa beach.
Seseh beach is reached by following the main road (Jl. Raya Canggu) towards Canggu. Reaching the big tree at the intersection in Munggu, with the sate sellers camped out and attracting locals, you hang a left towards the coast. About 10 minutes drive form seminyak area so there are dream comes true as far as lovely quiet sawah (filed yard). Looking around you’ll see no villas, few shops and views of the coast. The beach itself is nothing to shout about and locals with gather before sunset to gaze at the waves and the setting sun.
Brawa beach with sand is a light brown, fairly clean. There is low scrub and trees at the back of the beach, but not the swaying palms some people associate with paradise. Berawa beach, is windy part of the attraction is watching the waves crash in. Sipping an iced tea at Legong Keraton is very pleasant and relaxing. Souvenir vendors hang around the entrance to the beach, but on the beach it is pretty deserted.
Canggu is a great please where the nature are cleaning terraced by filed yard coconut tree and about the beach canggu has two beautiful extractive beach which famous for its surf and for those who might like to enjoy the water sport canggu beach is best places.
